For this blog post, I will be discussing on which citation site I would like to use for sourcing my work. The sites I can choose from are http://www.citationmachine.net/, http://www.easybib.com/, http://www.bibme.org/, and Microsoft Word's citation features. In addition to this, I will also be supplying a MLA Works Cited Page on the blog post which will be accurately and correctly formatted, citing 4 sources that I will be using for my research in how to publish poetry.
Out of the citation sites listed above, I prefer to use http://www.citationmachine.net/, because out of the 2 citation sites I know how to use (I only know how to use http://www.citationmachine.net/ and Microsoft Word's citation features out of the 4 citation sites we were given to choose from), http://www.citationmachine.net/ is the site that requires the least amount of steps to site a source.
For example, In Microsoft Word, multiple settings must be changed in order to get the desired citation (ex. change APLA to MLA). In addition, multiple pieces of information must be entered in order ti make a citation (ex. author, date article was last updated, creator of article, etc.). When using http://www.citationmachine.net/, all that needs to be done is for the name or URL (depending on the source you are using) of the website, book, or article to be entered into the "search" column, where it will automatically give you a citation (including author, date article was last updated, creator of article, etc). http://www.citationmachine.net/ will not ever require you to manually find and fill in additional information in order to create a citation, unlike Microsoft Word Citation features.
This is why I would prefer to use http://www.citationmachine.net/; it has a much faster, and less complicated process when creating a citation, as well as being one of the only citation sites I know how to use.
Below is a MLA Works Cited Page, which cites 4 sources that I will be using for my research.

With this, I conclude my Blog Post #6.
